The Accounting Associate role at Daytona International Speedway provides an opportunity for students to gain real-world accounting experience by assisting with daily tasks and projects in the accounting department.
Responsibilities
Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
Work with and analyze large datasets and spreadsheets.
Assist with the preparation of various accounting reports as requested by management for month-end and quarter-end.
Assist in reconciliation of various accounts, reviewing invoices and recording monthly journal entries.
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Strong attention to detail with focus on accuracy
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of Workday, or the ability to learn the systems quickly
Fall 2025 rising Junior or Senior obtaining a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related degree
