Textron Systems serves defense and commercial customers through specialized capabilities including air, land, sea, propulsion, weapon systems, electronic systems, and test, training, and simulation. The Accounting Co-Op will perform assigned accounting functions, record financial transactions, prepare reconciliations and schedules, support audits and reporting, and assist the Accounting team.
Responsibilities
Prepare and record company financial transactions, preparing supplemental schedules as required
Support financial, tax, internal and government reporting audits
Interface with management and company personnel, as required, regarding the status of accounting transactions and corrective actions required
Provide support to Accounting team
Will work onsite 20 hours per week
Qualification
Required
Rising Junior or Senior in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or closely related field
Ability to analyze and interpret program financial data
PC Proficiency required in Microsoft office with a strong emphasis on Excel
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and work well in a team environment
Ability to be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision
This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Candidates should be comfortable learning and applying these tools, evaluating AI-generated output with sound judgment, and using AI in line with company policy and ethical standards
