Continental is a leading tire manufacturer and industry specialist, and they are seeking a 2026 Controlling Intern to join their team at Hoosier Racing Tire in Lakeville, IN. This internship offers hands-on experience in analyzing operational and financial data, supporting month-end close processes, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Responsibilities
Conduct financial and variance analysis (volume, mix, scrap) to support operational decision-making
Support cost controlling, expense tracking, and cost center reporting against budget and forecast
Assist with month-end closing activities and ensure accuracy of financial data in collaboration with accounting
Support business case calculations to provide insights on investments and development projects
Help improve and standardize reporting processes and tools, primarily using Excel
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited university, pursuing a degree in: Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Minimum sophomore standing by Fall 2026
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be able to commute to Lakeville, IN. Transportation and lodging are not provided for this internship
