Siemens Industry Software is a leading global software company focused on computer-aided design, 3D modeling, and simulation. They are seeking a Software Development Intern for their Spring 2026 Strategic Student Program, where interns will apply their education to solve real-world problems while working within an Agile development team on a CFD thermal simulation solution.
Responsibilities
Conduct QA testing on new software
Develop unit test(s)
Develop new software in C# using WPF and interface design features related to the next generation product solution
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
Pursing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Available to work 40 hours per week and be online no later than 8:30 AM
One class may be taken in the afternoon or evening during each semester as long as work performance does not suffer. Classes cannot be taken in the morning hours
Candidates should have exposure to software development with experience designing, coding, and debugging
Preferred
Software development process in an Agile Scrum development environment
Software development using Visual Studio and C#
Experience with using Git, Jira, and Bitbucket
Operating systems: Windows
Knowledge of Solidworks or other 3D Mechanical software
