Vertex Inc. is a technology company that empowers businesses through innovative solutions. As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will contribute to the development of a custom certification management platform, gaining hands-on experience in both back-end and front-end development while working closely with a mentor.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain features for a greenfield certification platform with long-term scalability
Gain exposure to API design, database management, and dynamic UI development
Troubleshoot AWS deployments, read logs, and understand how components fit together
Write documentation for existing systems and contribute to new feature development
Work in a 2-person team with direct 1:1 mentorship

Qualification

Required

Strong interest in full stack development and cloud-native applications
Experience with Python and basic web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Familiarity with GitHub workflows and testing practices
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
Curiosity and initiative to explore new technologies and solve real-world problems
Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and Spring/Summer 2028

Preferred

Prior internship experience is helpful but not required
Individuals excited by greenfield projects and hands-on development
