The Firmware Engineer Intern will develop and verify firmware modules for SerDes IP, contribute to CI/CD processes, create technical documentation and build scripts, and perform debugging, bring-up, and production firmware development in collaboration with firmware, design, application, and SoC teams.
Responsibilities
FW development of Marvell Serdes IP
Be responsible for the development and verification of new firmware modules
Perform tasks including debugging, bring-up, and production firmware development
Collaborate with firmware, design, application, and SoC team
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a BS 3rd or 4th-year student or Master student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Knowledge of microcontrollers
Knowledge of embedded firmware design, development, and debugging
Experience with CI/CD, for example Jenkins system
Strong Python programming skills
Good technical communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred
Experience with microcontroller programming
Experience in C/C++ programming in a bare-metal embedded environment
Experience/ knowledge with chip design simulation and verification
Experience/ knowledge with SERDES technology and PCIe host interface
