The Exploratory Software Engineer Intern will prototype software solutions, explore emerging technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present experimental solutions during a 10-week summer internship.
Responsibilities
Prototype experimental software solutions using modern languages and platforms (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Swift, Unity)
Explore innovative applications of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, computer vision, and augmented reality
Learn and apply design thinking and rapid prototyping methodologies to validate ideas quickly
Collaborate in innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and product managers
Present findings and demo prototypes to key stakeholders, gaining visibility and feedback
Understand how innovation is fostered in a corporate tech environment and contribute to shaping future products and services
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, or related field
Expected graduation dates of December 2028, May 2029, December 2029, or May 2030
Preferred
3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
Curiosity for emerging technologies and a passion for innovation
Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#, Kotlin)
Exposure to innovation frameworks such as design thinking, agile development, or rapid prototyping
Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
Previous internship or project experience in a creative or technical environment is a plus
