As an intern in the Peripheral Interventions Design Assurance organization, you will assist in ensuring product designs meet quality and regulatory standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Assist in Design Verification and Validation activities, including test execution and documentation.
Review product specifications and design documentation.
Support risk management by contributing to Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Hazard Analysis.
Review documentation to ensure compliance to internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team members to identify and resolve design-related issues.
Help maintain Design History Files (DHF) and ensure traceability of requirements.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering
Must graduate between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship
Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
Must have reliable transportation to and from the Maple Grove, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location
Preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams
Ability and passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions
Knowledge of analytical techniques and statistical analysis
Lab experience from classes or research
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
