TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for their Short Video organization. The role involves building and scaling technologies that enhance the short-form video ecosystem, providing students with hands-on experience in a vibrant and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Build new features that touch hundreds of millions of people around the world
Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems
Participate in technical discussions related to team's product and engineering work

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
Experience with Python, Java, Golang, C#, or C++

Preferred

Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
