They are seeking Software Engineers for an internship opportunity where candidates will design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software and computing systems to meet engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software and computing systems software to be applied to, and integrated with engineering, scientific and manufacturing requirements
Generate processes, procedures and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems, military range pilot training and display systems
Qualification
Required
Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
Be majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) degree
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Preferred
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
It will be helpful, though not required, for your course work to have included: Development Languages such as C/C++, Python, Ada, and/or Primary Operating Systems such as Linux, Windows, VxWorks, and/or Agile Development using Jira and GitHub, and/or Embedded Software, Object Oriented Design, GUI Development using Qt, GPU GSL & CUDA, Web Design
