Yearlong Product Intern, Senior Care

U.S. News & World Report is a digital media company that provides reporting, rankings, data journalism, and consumer advice. The Yearlong Product Intern will support the Senior Care product team through B2B client onboarding, product launch planning, data audits, KPI reporting, and cross-functional product operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage B2B client onboarding and portfolio maintenance by updating profiles, organizing media assets (photos/videos/content), and responding promptly to inbound account inquiries
  • Assist product managers with annual Senior Care category launch plans, ticket management in Jira, and day-to-day project tracking
  • Conduct data audits, data mapping, and dashboard uploads across Google Analytics, Airtable, and internal platforms
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and compile concise reports to identify areas for product and workflow optimization
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across engineering, product, and business operations to optimize site categories
  • Utilize tools such as Airtable, Google Sheets, MS Office, and Google Analytics to maintain project documentation and operational efficiency

Qualification

Required

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business, UX/UI Design, or a related field (this is a full-time, year-long commitment)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex datasets and derive clear, actionable takeaways
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver data findings to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with equal comfort working independently and within cross-functional teams

Preferred

  • Educational background or professional interest in Senior Care, Healthcare, or Public Health sectors
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Prior experience with project management platforms like Jira or Airtable
  • Strong preference for New York or Washington, DC based applicants to work a hybrid schedule in those office locations
