Visa is a world leader in payments and technology, and they are seeking a Technical Product/Project Management Intern for Summer 2026. The role involves developing project plans, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of technical solutions within the organization.
Responsibilities
Collaborate across a diverse team of technical experts to ensure solutions are implemented on schedule
Develop and execute timelines and budgets aligned with Visa’s operating guidelines
Troubleshoot coordination challenges and implement creative solutions to complex problems
Leverage modern technologies and project management tools to streamline project execution
Lead and actively contribute to planning meetings, executive updates, and technical exchange meetings
Qualification
Required
Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Data Science, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, graduating December 2026-August 2027
Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment
Preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. In particular, a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally as needed
Experience working with people in a professional environment
Concentration or academic focus in Computer Science, Information Technology, cybersecurity, or a related field; business coursework is a plus
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Experience using project management tools like Jira
Experience with modern database technologies (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically
Independent judgement and mature decision-making skills to lead technology office projects that often have enterprise-wide scope and may have significant cost and time-to-market impacts
Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices
