Kroger is looking for current college students who are interested in gaining on the job training, mentorship, and real-world experience in their field of choice. The Summer Internship Program offers students an opportunity to support Product Management and Technology Development teams while driving execution of the customer journey and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Help to support Product Management and Technology Development teams to drive execution of the customer journey amongst various product portfolios
Partner with cross-functional teams to assist in creating epics and user stories
Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the digital strategy defined by Product Management teams
Maintain and follow operational procedures and processes
Participate in weekly/monthly department meetings
Assist in working on new technology platforms that are revolutionizing the retail industry
Participate in intern programs that support technical and leadership development within the organization

Qualification
Required
Open to Information Systems, Business or Management degrees, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0
Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative on their own work
Preferred
Technical majors preferred
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in groups or independently
Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization
Ability to analyze and interpret information and apply to business needs
Commitment to providing customer service
Prior experience in a retail environment
