TikTok is a short-form mobile video platform whose mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Product Operations Intern will support the Partner Product team by researching sellers and software vendor partners, helping develop product strategy, prioritizing requirements, participating in the product development lifecycle, and supporting user acceptance testing for TikTok Shop apps and APIs.
Responsibilities
Conduct extensive quantitative and qualitative market studies to gather deep insights into Sellers, Independent Software Vendors (ISV) Partners and other roles in social content-based Commerce
Partner with the product management team to devise product strategy to ensure long term vision and success for the product
Combine ROI analysis, dependency analysis and other techniques to prioritize the product requirements
Participate in the product development lifecycle, review various artifacts to ensure quality
Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure product quality and optimal user experience prior to product launch
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in CS or related Business major
Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2027
Great communicator & team-partner
Comfortable navigating complex organizational structures & aligning objectives with cross-functional teams
Analytical, data sensitive & goal-driven
Comfortable with setting ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial & error iterations and constantly improving
Preferred
Familiar with TikTok and mainstream e-commerce platforms, experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred
Experience and understanding of APIs and 3P integrations
