TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Product Operations Intern for the Summer of 2026. The intern will be responsible for gathering user requirements, conducting market studies, and collaborating with the product management team to devise effective product strategies.
Responsibilities
Conduct extensive quantitative and qualitative market studies to gather deep insights into Sellers, Independent Software Vendors (ISV) Partners and other roles in social content-based Commerce
Partner with the product management team to devise product strategy to ensure long term vision and success for the product
Combine ROI analysis, dependency analysis and other techniques to prioritize the product requirements
Participate in the product development lifecycle, review various artifacts to ensure quality
Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure product quality and optimal user experience prior to product launch
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
Great communicator & team-partner. Comfortable navigating complex organizational structures & aligning objectives with cross-functional teams
Analytical, data sensitive & goal-driven. Comfortable with setting ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial & error iterations and constantly improving
Preferred
Familiar with TikTok and mainstream e-commerce platforms, experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred
Experience and understanding of APIs and 3P integrations
