As a Product Manager Intern, you will support digital experimentation and assist with strategic operations within the Digital Product Optimization team, focusing on internal tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, manipulate & optimize data sets
Use atomic research to establish a durable metadata taxonomy
Work with Product Management team to build and groom product requirements
Collaborate with data science, data analytics, engineering, user research and more cross-functional teams
Collaborate on an Agentic AI prototype for DPO’s research knowledge base
Qualification
Required
Basic SQL or Data Querying skills
Familiarity with Tagging/Taxonomy Design
Knowledge and experience with User Research methodologies
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts
Analytical thinking, problem solving & attention to detail
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human/Computer Interaction, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Library & Information Science, Business Analytics or related field
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Glendale, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Preferred
Direct experience building Agentic AI applications, with exposure to AI evaluation techniques
Direct experience manipulating a complex data set
Experience/Exposure to A/B Testing or Experimentation
