Oshkosh Corporation, through its subsidiary Pierce Manufacturing, builds customized trucks that serve communities worldwide. The Product Management Intern will assist the Product Management department on various projects focused on product content, collaborating with sales, engineering, manufacturing, legal, and finance teams to ensure accurate product information for the external sales force.
Responsibilities
Establish basic knowledge of the pumper product line.
Gain proficiency with the custom product software
Develop working relationships with internal and external sales force as well as our engineering group.
Provide project level support to the Product Management Team
Ability to review an order content to ensure compliance with the customer’s expectations.
Qualification
Required
Student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Business Administration or related field for the entire duration of the internship
Preferred
Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) throughout the summer.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Ability to learn new programs and processes quickly.
Outstanding communication, organizational, planning, and leadership skills are essential.
Strong attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
