OfferUp is looking for a Product Management Intern to join our product team this summer. The intern will work on real projects, utilizing analytics tools and collaborating with various teams to drive product decisions and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities
Own real projects: You won't just be building slide decks in a corner. You'll drive a defined problem space from discovery through recommendation, with the support of your PM manager and colleagues
Dig into the data: Use analytics tools to understand user behavior, identify opportunities, and measure the impact of your work
Talk to users: Conduct research and synthesize insights that inform product decisions
Collaborate across the team: Work closely with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to turn ambiguity into a clear plan
Leverage AI: Use tools like Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT to move faster and think bigger
Present your findings: Share your recommendations with the broader product team and leadership at the end of your internship
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate (MBA or equivalent) program, returning to school after the internship
A curious problem solver: You love digging into a messy situation and finding a simple, creative path forward
A strong communicator: You can explain a complex idea clearly, in writing, in a doc, or in a room full of stakeholders
Data-curious: You're comfortable working with data to answer questions and support your thinking, even if you're still building that muscle
A self-starter: You don't wait to be told what to do next. You take initiative, ask good questions, and figure things out
Preferred
Prior internship or project experience in product management, strategy, consulting, or a related field
Familiarity with two-sided marketplaces, B2B/SMB products, or mobile apps
Experience with A/B testing concepts or product analytics tools
Benefits
This is a non-benefits-eligible internship.
No additional compensation beyond hourly wages is offered.
