The Bancorp is a company that provides nonbank companies with banking technology and services. They are seeking a Product Development Intern to support the Fintech Solutions Product Management team by preparing new partners and products for market launch, while gaining hands-on experience in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
Works closely with the project and product teams as fintech partners prepare for product launch.
Assists in the testing process to ensure products and programs perform according to the documented requirements.
Identifies, logs, and communicates potential issues to stakeholders.
Reports defects and recommends solutions/improvements while participating in the remedial effort.
Ability to simultaneously prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification
Required
Eligible to work for any employer in the United States for the full duration of the internship.
Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate college degree program at the rising junior level, junior or senior level standing, enrolled in a master’s program or recently graduated within the past six months.
Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, this will be confirmed by the recruiter.
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree directly related to the department for which the internship program is listed.
Must be available for part-time internship during the academic year, with a minimum weekly schedule of 10 hours in-office.
May not be related to any employee of The Bancorp.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively and clearly communicate and present ideas to senior leadership.
A team player, able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
