Nike is a leading athletic brand that focuses on understanding consumer needs to deliver innovative products. As a Footwear Product Creation Intern, you will collaborate across functions to develop cutting-edge footwear, solve complex challenges, and enhance product performance.
Responsibilities
Researching and investigating materials for product lines and production with a focus on sustainability and performance.
Working with Design and Operations to bring products to life.
Constantly testing ideas to ensure Nike products serve athletes effectively.
Finding ways to make design ideas work in Product Engineering.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a Polymer Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Textiles or related field with a graduation date between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027
Knowledge of materials, formation, construction, and manufacturing
Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, remain flexible, and get results and work within a matrixed organization
Proficiency using MS Office applications
Preferred
Knowledge of footwear sourcing, global processes, and events from product concept to delivery
