Vertiv provides hardware, software, analytics, and services that support data centers, communication networks, and commercial and industrial facilities. The IT Systems Product Management Intern will support portfolio growth through market and competitive analysis, pricing activities, KPI tracking, and sales enablement. The role also coordinates cross-functional initiatives and contributes to product strategy, positioning, and business reviews.
Responsibilities
Conduct competitive research on industry-leading IT infrastructure products and solutions
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies
Analyze sales trends, pricing data, and business performance metrics
Support development of pricing recommendations and promotional strategies
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) across product categories
Assist in creating customer-facing presentations, sales tools, and training materials
Help develop product positioning and value proposition messaging
Participate in customer, distributor, and channel research activities
Coordinate action items across Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing teams
Assist with project tracking and status reporting
Support data gathering for strategic planning exercises and management business reviews
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Related field
Preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
