Intact is a company dedicated to helping people and businesses prosper. They are looking for an IT Business Analyst intern to analyze business needs, define IT solutions, and support the development and testing of these solutions.
Responsibilities
Analyzing business needs to define IT solutions
Conduct impact analyses and effort estimations to propose, get approval for, and document IT solutions
Support the development of solutions and analyses performed
Participate in testing activities with IT teams
Support the Product Owner in defining and prioritizing the backlog
Write user stories consumable by developers and the testing team
Build and maintain robust, accurate, and accessible functional documentation for all company stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Technology Management or IT in progress
Strong interest in business analysis and documentation processes
Familiarity with tools such as Jira or Confluence
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning
Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country
No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada
Available 35 hours a week from September 8 to December 18, 2026
Must be actively enrolled in a post-secondary institution for the duration of the internship
