E.L.F. BEAUTY is a leading cosmetics brand committed to clean, cruelty-free beauty. The Product Development Intern will support the team in driving innovation and bringing new products to life through brief creation, concept brainstorming, and managing product samples.
Responsibilities
Assist with creation of briefs and brainstorming new product concepts across color cosmetics and skincare
Organize, label, and manage product samples, while collecting team feedback for refinement
Support product shipping needs (domestic and international)
Assist with sample preparation and distribution for retailer and internal meetings
Maintain the physical product sample library and ensure accuracy of records
Track, review, and help evaluate formulas in partnership with the team
Conduct research on emerging beauty trends, consumer insights, and ingredient innovations
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in Senior year or Recently graduated, with a degree in business, marketing, cosmetic science, or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion for color cosmetics, skincare, and the beauty industry
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive self-starter
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred
Prior internship experience in product development, innovation, or marketing preferred; beauty industry experience (mass or prestige) a plus
