Pet Supplies Plus is focused on making it easier to get better products for your pet. As a consumables product development intern, you will assist in researching market trends and help with product development projects, from concept to packaging.
Responsibilities
Work up to 24 hours per week with flexibility if full 8 hours aren't possible
Assist in researching market trends, competitive products, and consumer insights for pet
Assist with product development projects, from products to packaging
Participate in brainstorming sessions for branding, packaging design, and marketing strategies
Track project timelines and update development status reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, inventory, supply chain, etc) to ensure timely execution
Work with manufacturers both domestically and overseas
Prepare presentations and reports for leadership on product development progress
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (Food Science, Animal Science, Merchandising or related field)
Passion for pets and curiosity about retail and private brands
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent communicator and collaborator
Superior attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)

AI knowledge a plus!
