European Energy Exchange AG is a leading Central Counterparty globally, facilitating risk management through innovative clearing models. The Intern will support the OTC IRD Product team in developing clearing services and solutions, while gaining practical experience in capital market dynamics and business operations.
Responsibilities
Conduct data research and market analysis to support product strategies
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and strategic deliverables are met
Monitor project milestones, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Plan, organize, and facilitate meetings, preparing agendas, producing minutes, and completing follow ups
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation for clients, senior leaders and project teams
Assist with budgeting, procurement, and resource tracking across business activities
Ensure clear communication between stakeholders, leadership, team members and clients
Take part in internal training and learning initiatives to enhance market and product knowledge
Qualification
Required
University degree preferably in management, finance, or economics
Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
Strong interest in derivatives and/or funding & financing markets
Experience in Business Operations, administrative, and business support role
Strong organizational, communication and multitasking abilities
Familiarity with project coordination and structured delivery frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2 knowledge)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work alone and as part of a team with the objective to meet common target achievement
Excellent problem solving skills, with a keen interest in developing products, systems and workflows
Availability to start on or before 1st June
