Fixed Income Pricing - Product Analyst Intern

S&P Global is a leading provider of essential intelligence for financial markets. They are seeking a Fixed Income Pricing - Product Analyst Intern to support the Fixed Income Pricing Team by managing daily pricing responsibilities and collaborating with sales and technology teams to enhance pricing services.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting and supervising the day-to-day running of S&P Global's Fixed Income Pricing business
  • Will be required to gain an in-depth product knowledge of S&P Global's pricing products and be able to speak effectively on them internally and externally
  • Provide exceptional client service by responding to client questions on pricing and methodology, and performing price challenges
  • Will be required to build external relationships with clients in addition to receiving feedback, and acting on feedback from customers on our products
  • Responsible for daily evaluation in the form of assessing the quality of data provided and removing data sources that do not pass rigorous data quality checks
  • Adjust daily pricing assumptions to reflect security performance in current market conditions
  • Generate metrics and reports on the quality of pricing data
  • Will propose and help implement process improvements to realize enhanced quality and improve efficiency across S&P's pricing products
  • Work across the pricing products and the broader organization to effect change and identify opportunities to grow the business (special focus on sales and business development)

Qualification

Required

  • Working towards a Bachelor Degree in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related relevant field of study completed by May 2027
  • Understanding of financial markets, knowledge of and exposure to Fixed Income products
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Knowledge of SQL, VBA, and other programming languages advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with teams, senior members of the organization and clients
  • Team player attitude is vital for the role. This includes giving and receiving constructive feedback, as well as a deadline-orientated approach to group projects
