Munich Re America Services (MRAS) is a shared service organization that delivers services to all Munich Re US P&C Companies and other group entities. They are seeking an intern to join their HSB Digital IT Products team, where the intern will support the daily operations and implementation of new or enhanced product features, as well as assist in enhancing the functionality of digital applications and technologies.
Responsibilities
Support the daily operations and implementation of new or enhanced product features
Provide and/or modify content in knowledge base for technical events
Track and follow up on technical events through the service management tool
Participate with team to provide support for digital enhancements through research and application development
Perform analytical discovery to determine feasibility of product concepts and modifications
Participate in the conversion of functional groups to active directory groups
Create and update user stories in the backlog to meet business expectations
Follow-up on user stories for appropriate approvals
Assist with regulatory or mandatory identity and security efforts as needed
Qualification
Required
Grade Level: current rising senior (2029) undergraduate or current master's student
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and balance priorities
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Highly organized with attention to detail
Excited, motivated and passionate
Familiar with Agile methodologies
Within commuting distance of Hartford, CT
Preferred
Preferred major: Computer Science or Engineering
Familiar with web development tools, SQL, .Net, Javascript is a plus
