The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Graduate Associate for their Decision Science Products team. This role involves contributing to the design and enhancement of decision support tools, developing dashboards, and performing data analysis to support Resorts Revenue Management.
Responsibilities
Contributing to the design and enhancement of decision support and pricing tools for Resorts Revenue Management.
Assisting in developing Tableau dashboards and optimizing data sources to support business decision-making and improve visualization performance.
Supporting the creation of automated data validation processes and working with data partners to ensure accuracy and resolve issues.
Performing data extraction and analysis to explore business questions, identify opportunities, and help automate routine processes.
Preparing and delivering clear, engaging presentations that communicate complex analytics and product insights to stakeholders.
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation
Familiarity with Tableau for building data visualizations and automating alerts
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Understanding of database structures and data validation techniques
Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and decision scientists
Interest or foundational knowledge in forecasting, optimization, and/or decision science methods
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities
Currently enrolled as a Graduate level student pursuing a graduate level degree in an analytical field including Computer Science, Computer Programming, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or other related quantitative field at an accredited college or university
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the position, 40 hours per week
Preferred
Experience in hospitality and/or resort operations
Knowledge of revenue and yield management
Experience developing, troubleshooting, and scheduling Python code
Able to work autonomously and take initiative in a fast-paced setting
Experience supporting product development through data-driven insights
Familiarity with GitLab for version control and collaborative development
Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Confluence
