Delta Air Lines is a technical airline company that focuses on safety, innovation, reliability, and customer experience. They are seeking a Co-op student for the Digital Catering Solutions team to gain industry experience, work on projects, and develop professional skills through training and mentoring.
Responsibilities
Perform operational duties to support the Pre-Select Customer Experience
Spend time on project work with IT partners
Collect and analyze Flight Attendant and Customer feedback
Participate in daily Agile ceremonies with IT partners
Contribute in cross-functional product meetings
Gather and analyze data for various projects
Create training material
Develop various tools/websites to improve processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
The candidate must possess Delta's core values of honesty, integrity, respect, perseverance, and servant leadership.
The candidate must convey a professional image to all levels of associates.
The candidate must be able to effectively communicate information (verbal and written) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates should have a strong command of managing projects, collecting feedback, and making recommendations for process improvements.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, self-starting, critical thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and aviation and be currently enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4 year university.
Preferred
Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters
