CAE is a world-class company and industry leader focused on simulation, training, and mission readiness. The Digital Product Intern will contribute to the evolution of digital products and platforms, specifically in booking technologies, enhancing user experiences and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Support the evolution of a digital product (e.g., booking/scheduling systems), contributing to reliability, continuous improvement, and user experience
Assist with value-based prioritization (needs analysis, clarifying requirements, backlog structuring) in partnership with business and delivery teams
Contribute to quarterly/annual roadmaps and planning artifacts (e.g., rationale, scoping, decision documentation)
Participate in product governance and budget follow-up, ensuring visibility and accountability
Prepare and deliver communications (presentations, demos, summaries) to various audiences, including management and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
This position is exclusively open to students pursuing a university degree
Internship dates: May 4th to August 21st, 2026
Support the evolution of a digital product (e.g., booking/scheduling systems), contributing to reliability, continuous improvement, and user experience
Assist with value-based prioritization (needs analysis, clarifying requirements, backlog structuring) in partnership with business and delivery teams
Contribute to quarterly/annual roadmaps and planning artifacts (e.g., rationale, scoping, decision documentation)
Participate in product governance and budget follow-up, ensuring visibility and accountability
Prepare and deliver communications (presentations, demos, summaries) to various audiences, including management and stakeholders
Comfort with collaboration/planning tools (e.g., Jira/Aha!/DevOps, etc…) and ability to structure information clearly
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify and align stakeholders
Proven collaboration mindset in multidisciplinary teams (business, UX, engineering, operations)
Analytical/problem-solving skills, autonomy, and strong organization/time management
All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal
They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate
All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years
Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks
Preferred
Ideally pursuing an MBA (or equivalent master's degree in management/innovation/technology management), with a demonstrated interest in digital product management
Exposure (academic or professional) to data analysis, process automation/continuous improvement, or product funding/governance concepts
