TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Project Intern for the Art & Nature category. In this role, you will engage in impactful short-term projects, gain practical skills, and develop a deeper understanding of e-commerce and category management.
Responsibilities
Define category strategy, assortment roadmap, and merchant structure based on supply, trends, and user behavior
Build category-level frameworks for assortment planning, merchant segmentation, and lifecycle operations
Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth; map and onboard strategic supply partners (greenhouses, crystal suppliers, artists/galleries, distributors, auction houses); drive activation, growth, retention, and operational health
Guide merchants on TikTok-native content, short-form video, live shopping, and creator collaboration; and drive merchant adoption of tools (e.g. Auction features) and programs that enhance GMV and repeatability
Discover innovative collaborative models that align to the merchant's short-term and long-term development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently
Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Undergraduate/Master majors in Environmental Studies, Botany, Gemology
Proven internship experience in e-commerce operations, seller success management, or social media community engagement
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, with familiarity with data cleaning and basic analysis
Logical, detail-oriented, and able to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and care
Strong sense of responsibility
Preferred
Major in (e.g., GIA Certificate), or Art/Design is a huge plus
