TikTok is a short-form mobile video and social media company seeking an AI Product Manager Intern to support social product initiatives. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct user and data research, manage roadmaps, monitor product metrics, and optimize social features.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data science teams to define product requirements and deliver high-quality social features
Conduct user research and analyze product and behavioral data to identify user needs, interaction gaps, and opportunities to improve the social experience
Develop and maintain the product roadmap for social initiatives, prioritizing features based on user impact, strategic value, and business goals
Monitor product performance and key social metrics, and use data-driven insights to iterate on and optimize product features
Stay current on industry trends, emerging social behaviors, and competitor products to inform product strategy and innovation
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, design, data science, or related fields
Exposure to consumer-facing products
Strong interest in social media, content ecosystems, and user experience design
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and work effectively across cross-functional teams
Preferred
Prior internship, project, or hands-on experience in product management
Experience contributing to product development from concept to launch
Familiarity with data analysis tools, experimentation, and product metrics
Strong interest in global social products, user interaction design, and community engagement
