The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Creative Copywriting Intern for their Yellow Shoes creative ad agency. This internship offers hands-on experience in creating advertising campaigns, collaborating with creative leaders, and developing a portfolio through real projects.
Responsibilities
Write copy for Disney Parks & Resorts marketing channels
Collaborate in ideation and brainstorming sessions with creative leaders
Learn how to think conceptually and solve creative problems through words
Create short and long‑form copy for a variety of advertising mediums
Help build creative decks and presentations that sell big ideas
Deliver polished, on‑brand writing for internal and external audiences
Learn how to adapt your writing style to different brand voices and tones
Manage deadlines and projects in a fast‑paced, agency‑style environment
Qualification
Required
Coursework or experience in copywriting or creative writing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Curious, creative, and excited to learn how advertising works in the real world
Strong written communication skills and creative curiosity
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Must have the ability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship
Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required
Preferred
Interest in or exposure to agency life, creative studios, or brand marketing
Familiarity with The Walt Disney Company, including films, television, and theme parks
Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Advertising preferred
