Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Intern for WAVY-TV 10/WVBT FOX43 for the Summer semester of 2026. The intern will assist the sales team with various tasks including the creation of sales materials, planning special sales projects, conducting ratings research, and developing social media strategies for clients.
Responsibilities
Assist the sales team in creation of sales one-sheets
Assist in planning of special sales projects
Perform ratings research
Assist staff in prep for sales calls
Work with clients on social media strategy
Qualification
Required
Completed courses in a digital Sales or Marketing-related curriculum
Working knowledge of WordPress and social media platforms
Must be enrolled in a college degree granting program
Will be required to show proof of enrollment in an internship course within that program
Preferred
Some experience analyzing algorithms
Developing social media marketing plans
Crafting images and videos for social media platforms
