The Boston Beer Company is a dynamic and growth-oriented organization seeking a Twisted Tea Brand Co-Op. This position offers current college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and project management while working cross-functionally to develop marketing strategies and support brand initiatives.
Responsibilities
Shadow core team members to understand their role and how they interface with their cross functional teams to perform key duties assigned by line manager.
Understand and develop skills pertaining to the marketing function they report to – media, brand, trade, experiential, etc.
Execute challenging cross-functional assignments by collaborating with teams outside of their core team.
Strategize and deliver creative and innovative retail-ready marketing & brand strategies to sales team.
Provide program analysis support on current and post projects.
Own their own project that will impact immediate team results and overall organizational success, present their findings at the conclusion of the CO-OP.
Assist with day-to-day social content for brands, handle creative asset management, contribute to brand creative and programming discussions, research and develop partnership opportunities to help grow the brand, work with brand manager to develop program materials, assist in content production process.
Qualification
Required
Working towards completion of Bachelor’s Degree
Prior experience in marketing or communications co-op preferred
Entrepreneurial-minded, eager to learn and take on new and varied responsibilities
Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization — from individual contributors to senior stakeholders to partner agencies and organizations
Strong project management skills and the ability to keep multiple streams of work (across multiple brands) progressing with high quality, on time, and on budget
Strong mix of both creative and strategic thinker
Curious and constantly looking to learn
Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States, now or in the future
Preferred
Prior experience in marketing or communications co-op preferred
