Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is a company focused on the energy sector, and they are seeking a Strategy & Market Intelligence Intern. This role supports the Strategy function by identifying growth opportunities and conducting deep research to enhance data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
Conduct Deep-Dive Research & Data Gap Filling: Perform secondary research to uncover missing financial, operational, and market data across target regions, companies, and sectors
Market Intelligence & Trend Tracking: Track energy market trends, regulatory developments, competitive activity; translate findings into concise insights to inform growth strategy and opportunity prioritization
Growth Opportunity Screening: Support identification and initial assessment of organic, partnership, and M&A opportunities, including market sizing, strategic fit, and key risks
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with business development, corporate development, and finance teams to support ongoing initiatives and improve visibility into opportunity pipelines
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree with interest in Math, Accounting, Business, Energy Business, Finance or other related program of study
