TikTok is a leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Strategic Operations Intern to focus on enhancing user experience and expanding TikTok search in global markets. The intern will collaborate with various teams to improve content quality and user engagement across search and recommendation features.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end content quality and user experience across search and recommendation features, including all search user acquisition channels on TikTok.
Deeply understand user intent across various search scenarios; define high-quality experiences through data analysis, user insights, and continuous optimization using LLMs and content understanding strategies.
Partner closely with algorithm engineers, product managers, and analytics teams to ensure healthy traffic growth and create standout user scenarios with strong brand perception.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above (computer science, information technology, data science, and other related majors are preferred)
Strong intuition for user needs and content quality, with the ability to abstract requirements and independently drive strategic planning
Background in content strategy, search/recommendation systems, visual search, or AI products is a strong plus
Sharp logical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams
