The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Part Time Paid Intern for Youth Social Media Writing. This internship involves creating engaging content for youth across various social media platforms, including writing captions and descriptions, interviewing youth, and managing social media interactions.
Responsibilities
Writing captions and descriptions for the For the Strength of Youth Instagram, Facebook, and the Strive to Be YouTube channels
Interviewing youth around the world
Responding to YouTube comments
Helping with SEO
Writing captions for Instagram
Turning long form content into short form captions
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university or have finished a degree within a year of starting the internship
Sound understanding of Church doctrine and a love of the gospel of Jesus Christ
At least one year of college-level writing experience
Sound understanding and ability to speak and write in English
The ability to think creatively
The ability to manage many projects and multiple deadlines simultaneously
Careful attention to detail and accuracy
Professionalism and the ability to work well with a variety of people
Preferred
Studying Communications, Social Media Marketing, or Writing and Editing
A second language is a plus
