They are seeking a National Media & Marketing Intern for a hands-on summer internship that provides practical experience and exposure to cross-functional work across Sales, Marketing, Sports, Analytics, and Research.
Responsibilities
Support day‑to‑day activities across sales and marketing teams, including client research, create proposals and market research
Assist on all aspects of the media business
Help the Analytics and Research teams gather and analyze audience and performance data to inform recommendations and learn pricing and inventory
Contribute to integrated presentations and pitch materials for internal and external stakeholders
Participate in team meetings, brainstorms and learning sessions with leaders across departments
Regular check‑ins with team leads and project ownership opportunities
Final Project to be presented to team at the end of internship
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program (marketing, communications, business, sports management, data analytics or related field) at an accredited college or university
Rising Junior or Senior in College/University
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical mindset and comfort working with data and reporting tools
Proactive, team‑oriented attitude and eagerness to learn
Ability to commit to a full‑time summer schedule including be available to be in the Scripps Network NYC Office 3 days a week
Be available to work June 21, 2026 through July 31, 2026 (6 week program)
Good people skills and sociability
Computer-based research abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web/cloud-based applications
