Patterson Companies, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Merchandise Marketing intern for their summer internship program. The intern will engage in meaningful work, contributing to team efforts in a hybrid role that includes both remote and on-site responsibilities at the corporate office in Eagan, MN.
Responsibilities
Conduct research and clean up the existing product hierarchy across multiple systems
Recommend new hierarchy categories based on gaps or needs within the current product assortment
Recategorize products according to the newly suggested hierarchy
Partner cross-functionally with the Master Data team and other stakeholders to implement hierarchy changes
Compare and contrast the existing web hierarchy with SAP hierarchy structures; document discrepancies and recommend resolutions
Assist with the following as needed:
Promotions project and entering of vendor promotions
New Product Submissions process
Annual catalog
Private label project
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytical mindset
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly collaborative with a desire to learn in a dynamic, professional environment
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
