Balchem Corporation develops specialty ingredients that enhance health and well-being across various industries. They are seeking a Marketing Intern to support digital marketing efforts, focusing on analytics and reporting, while also assisting with event and trade show organization.
Responsibilities
Support Digital Marketing & Analytics – Assist in data analysis, reporting, and optimization of marketing initiatives.
Event & Trade Show Organization – Manage specific organizational sub-projects within trade show and event planning.
Pre- & Post-Show Marketing Communication – Support in creating blogs, e-blasts, and social media content related to trade shows and events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with different teams, particularly in digital marketing and event coordination.
Administrative & Organizational Support – Assist in general marketing operations, ensuring smooth execution of projects and initiatives.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a junior in an accredited university or recently completed a BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio is essential. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Outlook is required.
Comfortable working with reporting templates and supporting marketing operations in both digital and event-related context.
Ability to assist in pre- and post-show marketing communication through blogs, e-blasts, and social media content.
Willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams in digital marketing and event coordination.
Preferred
Previous internship or work experience in marketing or event organization is a plus.
