Arrow Financial Corporation is seeking motivated and ambitious college students for their Summer 2026 Internship Program at their Corporate Headquarters in Glens Falls, New York. The Marketing Intern will be involved in enhancing the company's brand strategy through social media engagement and will gain hands-on experience in various marketing functions.
Responsibilities
Identify and pilot emerging social media platforms and tools to Increase visibility and enhance audience engagement
Lead internal test groups for new communication tools, including participant recruitment, onboarding, and tool implementation
Create content and multimedia assets within tool to maintain a consistent brand voice to measure engagement levels before and after
Review Social Media Policy to ensure it reflects current digital trends and best practices, identify opportunities for enhancement, and make recommendations
Make recommendations about employee social media participation in corporate social media initiatives expectations
Develop and maintain a library of “evergreen” social media content to ensure a consistent and professional brand voice
Create user-friendly training materials, guides, and release notes to help team adopt new social communication tools
Support SEO initiatives and coordinate with team members to align social media efforts with community-facing content
Monitor social trends and internal usage to proactively identify and minimize potential reputational risks
Attend and participate in team meetings to understand planning and decision-making processes, gain insights into team dynamics and exposure to various Marketing functions and organizational processes
Attend a continuing education event, branch visit, and participate in a community service opportunity to promote corporate social responsibility
Attend weekly meetings to collaborate with interns from other departments within the company to share knowledge, build power skills, and share experiences in the program
Participate in presentation at conclusion of program, showcasing your learning and contributions to the Executive Leadership team
Qualification
Required
Actively involved in the campus community college students who are eager to learn and take initiative in a professional setting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field
Hands-on experience with various social media platforms, content creation, and basic video editing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to effectively learn and utilize department specific systems and software
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to take initiative and prioritize multiple tasks and projects; consistently meet established deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidentially, clearly, professionally, and confidently with internal partners, management, and other stakeholders
