Marriott Vacations Worldwide is a global leader in the vacation ownership industry, seeking a Marketing Event Assistant Intern for the summer. The role involves assisting with the setup and breakdown of marketing events and performing event-related duties as needed.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the set up and breakdown of marketing events
Performing any event related duties as needed including administrative tasks
Participating in comprehensive onboarding and operational duties within the assigned department
Engaging in eLearning and virtual meetings with company leaders
Job shadowing and direct mentorship with an onsite leader
Qualification
Required
Local resident with area knowledge preferred
Must be available to work up to 15 hours a week including weekends and Holidays
Must be local to Myrtle Beach
Candidate should be pursuing a college degree or within one year post graduation
All interns must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation Policy Marketing and Sales Standards of Appearance
All interns for whom a uniform has been provided must wear the appropriate uniform
Non-uniformed interns should dress with good business taste and in clothing appropriate to their jobs
Dress or skirt length should be no shorter than four inches above the knee
All interns must wear proper undergarments
Preferred
It is preferred that the candidate is actively pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Sales or Business
Prior Hospitality or Sales experience preferred
Past Interns who are interested in completing an additional internship will be considered first
