CNO Financial Group is a leading provider of life and health insurance solutions. They are seeking a Corporate Communications Intern for Summer 2026 to assist with internal communications, public relations, and social media efforts while gaining valuable experience in the field.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal departments to assist in the development and execution of internal and external communication plans and materials
Utilize content management systems (CMS) and media platforms to create and post communications and media materials to various web and social media channels
Assist in development and tracking of strategic and news content for internal and external audiences
Qualification
Required
Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline
Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of Dec 2026 – June 2028
Minimum GPA of 3.0 /4.0
Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Office products
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), graphic and video software, or media relations tools/databases preferred but not required
