Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is dedicated to helping people and businesses prosper while providing tailored insurance solutions. They are seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to support their team with social media management, content creation, and project management tasks during an 8-10 week internship.
Responsibilities
Draft, publish and monitor posts for the company’s social media accounts: LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. and internal and external blogs.
Support internal communications and external social media editorial calendar by tracking weekly social posts and presenting to team.
Periodically draft content for internal communications (e.g., announcements, business updates).
Compile monthly company reports and performance across all channels (internal and external)
Post content to corporate intranet and public websites using content management system.
Research and draft articles and content for various business client websites.
Assist with project management utilizing Microsoft 365 tools for in-flight marketing and communications projects.
Qualification
Required
Excellent written communication skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of social media platforms and trends (avid users preferred).
Demonstrates proficiency with computer software including current Windows Operating System, Microsoft 365, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with content creation for social platforms and/or Creative Cloud a plus.
The ideal candidate will be working towards a bachelors degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, English, or a related field, graduating in 2026 or 2027.
