IBM is a technology and consulting company whose Institute for Business Value conducts research and develops thought leadership. The intern will support research-driven storytelling and the creation, amplification, and strategic communication of thought leadership content across digital channels.
Responsibilities
Translating research findings into clear and compelling narratives for broad audiences
Supporting development of blogs, social media posts, infographics, and executive-ready summaries
Assisting in shaping communication strategies for newly published IBV insights
Helping ensure content accuracy, clarity, and alignment with IBV brand and tone
Participating in IBV webinars and synthesizing key takeaways for internal and external communication
Engaging with IBV experts to understand research themes and support content mapping across channels
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in communications, business, economics, public policy, or similar fields
Interest in primary research and data analysis
Strong writing and storytelling skills; fluent written and oral English
Ability to distill complex information into accessible messaging
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools
Proficiency in PowerPoint
Strong time management abilities and self‑motivation, as this role is remote
Some travel may be required based on business demand
