The role involves assisting with administrative duties at the Sales Office, providing customer service, and learning various aspects of marketing and sales operations.
Responsibilities
Assist at our Sales Office welcome desk performing administrative duties
Providing customer service
Learn and perform the job duties of the position(s) within their assigned department
Learn and master the role of a non-commissioned marketing associate
Involved in department projects
Learn components of what drives a successful Marketing and Sales operation on site
Contribute to these important matters
Demonstrate the company’s values and core beliefs
Qualification
Required
Candidate should be pursuing a college degree.
Friday - Sunday availability required.
Shift hours operate between: 7:30am - 4:30pm.
All interns must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation Policy Marketing and Sales Standards of Appearance.
All interns for whom a uniform has been provided must wear the appropriate uniform. Uniforms must be neat and clean at all times.
Non-uniformed interns should dress with good business taste and in clothing appropriate to their jobs.
Dress or skirt length should be no shorter than four inches above the knee.
All interns must wear proper undergarments.
Corporate office interns must adhere to policy EMP-20 Corporate Office Business Dress Guidelines.
Preferred
It is preferred that the candidate is actively pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Sales or Business.
Prior Hospitality or Sales experience preferred.
Past Interns who are interested in completing an additional internship will be considered first.
