The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a FamilySearch Internal Communications Intern to join their Talent and Culture Team in the Family History Department. This internship involves delivering internal communications and uplifting media content to enhance department culture and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
Managing and improving the department intranet site
Collecting and analyzing data from communications and media
Editing short daily videos (2-3 minutes) to inspire and inform employees
Occasionally filming video content
Writing and sending engaging email communications
Supporting team and department events such as RootsTech
Building and sending surveys to gather feedback
Contributing innovative ideas to strengthen department culture
Qualification
Required
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
Excellent written and verbal communication
Video editing (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva)
Data analysis and reporting
Project management and organization
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics)
Strong people engagement and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Must be enrolled in an educational institution or within one year of graduation
Preferred
Speaking a second language is helpful but not required
