MKS Inc. is seeking an undergraduate intern to support Newport’s Product Marketing team for its high-speed detector line. The intern will conduct market and competitive research, assist with marketing strategies and training materials, update product content and collateral, and support day-to-day product marketing activities.
Responsibilities
Searching and collecting relevant market development and technical advancement of VCSELs and ethernet transceivers as directed
Collecting competitive product information to help support development of marketing and pricing strategies
Interaction with internal teams with various functions to help grow revenue and improve internal processes
Supporting development of product training materials for sales staff
Correcting, updating and improving product web page contents and marketing collaterals
Support on other day-to-day activities as required

Qualification
Required
* Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, material sciences or relevant majors
* Technical and/or scientific knowledge learned from school
* Open-mindedness to learning a wide range of technical and business tasks
* Work habits of putting consistent efforts throughout employment
* Organization skills to plan, prioritize, and close assigned tasks
* Communication skills to exchange information clearly both with internal and external stakeholders
* Data analysis, preferably in Excel
