Disney Consumer Products Marketing Strategy Intern, Summer/Fall 2026

The Walt Disney Company is a leader in the global marketing organization for consumer products, bringing beloved stories and characters to life. The Marketing Strategy Intern will support go-to-market strategies and execution of marketing plans across various franchises, collaborating with multiple teams to drive business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with marketing strategies and go-to-market plan development to deliver our business goals
  • Provide support with communication plan development across the team
  • Evaluate campaign creatives and track approvals/status updates with agencies
  • Apply data to make strategic recommendations and track program/product budgets
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver assets, campaign pitch kits, toolkits, and content following brand guidelines and maintaining updates
  • Provide generational knowledge into trends and ways of thinking
  • Be an active participant and perform overall project management/ad hoc requests from leadership

Qualification

Required

  • Proven marketing skills to develop strategic feedback, reasons, and marketing communication plans
  • Ability to build and implement strategic plans and project management tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint), Keynote, and presentation delivery
  • Shown experience in graphic design using Adobe Photoshop/Canva or similar
  • Marketing industry knowledge of trends and the latest innovations
  • Creatively minded with the ability to encourage teams using analytical thinking, foresight, and problem-solving skills
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must have the ability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship
  • Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required

Preferred

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in advertising or business with a marketing concentration, or a related field of study
